Yoga is not for men or women. It's for everybody but it's true that it can be overwhelming in some places. My advice is that you try a more formal approach.

A person of any gender and age group can adapt yoga in his/ her life. Only those prohibited by doctors or kids who are under age, shouldn't practise yoga till they are allowed from fitness point. In india, you can find many elderly males and females doing yoga for health benefits. Also many young boys have found yoga as beneficiary as going to gym after doing yoga sessions. If you are fit, flexible and focussed, yoga needs you and vice versa. read less
