AI should be taught to students and future engineers because it develops computational thinking, problem-solving, automation, and innovation skills. However, BI should also be introduced as a complementary discipline, enabling students to analyze data, understand business trends, and make informed decisions. Thus, AI should be prioritized, with BI taught alongside it.

It wont be replaced anytime soon as the cost for AI powered BI is too high and organisations cannot afford that moreover data security is a big challenge. So the traditional BI will continue for some more time atleast
