Yog is basically a Sanskriti word. The vocabulary of Sanskrit is extensive and has very strict rules for proper usage of words as every word is a powerhouse of the energy of the letters with which it is composed.

There is no terminology called as “Yoga” in the Sanskrit. The word Yog is derived from the word ‘Yuj’ and 5000 years old Indian body of knowledge, whose literal meaning is Samadhi.

In Sanskrit, adding or deleting a single syllable or vowel in the existing word can change the meaning of that word. For eg: The noun used for referring to the stress is ‘chinta’ and funeral pyre is ‘chita’. So if one writes or pronounces chinta as chita , it changes the whole meaning of the word.
