In my opinion yoga is best compared to walking and gym work outs as yoga can be practiced by all ages of people except small kids.Where as work outs in gym for youth only for body building.Walking we can not compare with yoga as yoga is a science and art but walking is an activity who ever having legs including animal kingdom are walking throught life ( at home,office,business place etc),systematic walking in the morning instead lazily sleeping late is good due to little excercise & inhaling fresh air.Both walking & gym for body health only.But yoga gives not only physical health but also mental,emotional, intellectual,social,ethical and spiritual health.Hence it is great,others no where near,can not compare. read less
