I have completed PhD and post doctorate from NIT DURGAPUR and IIT KHARAGPUR respectively. All through my PhD I was deeply involved in chess and it became my favourite hobby. Later on during Corona period I pursued it just not by playing but also studying it diligently. Briefly what I can say is that Chess is comprised of mainly 3 steps: opening, middle game and end game. Opening game: It's just like a morning of a day, should be glorious, bright and active to complete the day in a very fruitful way. Game capture becomes easier if one can hold the opening game. Middle game: Middle game is like a beautiful art where opponent should not be able to understand how an insignificant still insightful movement of a piece can bring along unpredictable situation. End game: End game is like a powerful machine,that should come like a storm, bulldoze our opponent and take a victory lap. Maximum player involves their time on opening and middle game and ignore the end game. Precision and accuracy are the two significant tools to win end game, that creates a distinguishing difference between an average player to a good player and a good player to the best player.Moreover, tactics and strategy are very important to win a war as well as the game of chess. I have learnt concrete patience and passion of teaching during my PhD tenure that I am utilising in chess.
