Sivashakti Yoga B.

Simple deep breathing as a tool.

Use deep breathing as a tool to clear your mind and bring balance in the body.

Technique : Sit in any comfortable seated posture, it can be on a chair or on the floor, with your spine erect. Start breathing in filling the abdomen, the chest and slightly raising the collarbone (shoulder line), in this order . Breathe out by lowering the collar bone, then the chest and in the end pull in the abdomen ,  to empty the lungs completely . Continue few more breaths, maintaining a relaxed body, no part of the body should be tensed too much . Let each breath bring deeper calmness in mind and relaxation in the body.

Use deep breathing as a tool anywhere , anytime to quiten the mind and or relax the muscles and nerves in the body.
