For a beginner it's good to first learn yoga in a class which can be online as well as offline. After sometime when one has said to develop certain level of interest and basics about yoga, he can try to learn it tthrough online videos.

For sure better to start with the physical presence of teacher. But, if yoga teacher is really professional, online classes also will work.

In Online class without instructor present there is a lack of feedback.Practicing at home is more distraction and less social cconnectio.Only the benefit of the time flexibility,privacy, variety of online classes and saving time in travelling. read less
