For a beginner it's good to first learn yoga in a class which can be online as well as offline. After sometime when one has said to develop certain level of interest and basics about yoga, he can try to learn it tthrough online videos.

Yoga for women, face and eyes yoga. 20 years of experience.

For sure better to start with the physical presence of teacher. But, if yoga teacher is really professional, online classes also will work.

For beginners yoga in a class is more good option than online yoga as there is physcial present in class get supervision,guidence,feedback and correction by yoga teacher at the same time of mistake in posture or in pranayam.There is social interaction.One can meet people and build rhe community.Being in class environment can enhance motivation and accountability. In Online class without instructor present there is a lack of feedback.Practicing at home is more distraction and less social cconnectio.Only the benefit of the time flexibility,privacy, variety of online classes and saving time in travelling. read less
