Dance classes near me in South Central Railway Station, Hyderabad

My name is Sumit Oram, and I bring with me over 13 years of experience in dance, both as a passionate performer and a dedicated instructor. Dance has been an integral part of my life, shaping not just my career, but also my character, discipline, and creativity. What started as a personal interest quickly turned into a lifelong commitment to teaching and choreographing, with the goal of spreading the joy and power of dance to others. Throughout my journey, I have trained in multiple dance styles, including Hip-Hop, Bollywood, Freestyle, Contemporary, and Semi-Classical. This versatility has allowed me to connect with a wide range of students across different age groups and skill levels. I have conducted group classes, one-on-one coaching, workshops, school and college choreography sessions, and wedding dance training, tailoring each experience to the learner’s pace, style, and goals. My teaching style is energetic, encouraging, and structured. I focus on building strong fundamentals—posture, rhythm, coordination, and expression—before moving into choreography and performance techniques. I ensure each session includes proper warm-ups, step breakdowns, movement drills, and cool-downs, keeping classes both engaging and technically sound. I’ve had the opportunity to choreograph for various events, such as school annual days, college cultural programs, local stage shows, community festivals, and wedding sangeets. I take pride in creating routines that not only showcase my students’ talent but also boost their confidence on stage. Seeing students grow—from shy beginners to expressive performers—is the most rewarding part of my work. What sets me apart is my ability to connect personally with learners and make dance a meaningful experience for them. I emphasize not just steps, but storytelling, musicality, and emotional expression. Whether it’s a high-energy Bollywood track or a slow contemporary piece, I teach with the intention of helping each dancer find their unique voice through movement. Over the years, my students have appreciated my clarity in instruction, patience, and motivational teaching approach. I stay updated with new trends, techniques, and choreography styles to bring fresh energy into every class. For me, dance is more than just movement—it’s freedom, discipline, and expression, and through teaching, I aim to pass that on to every student I work with.
