Art Tutor with 13.years experience in Teaching all mediums, professional Post Graduation in Painting
I am a Fine Arts professional with a deep passion for painting and teaching. My journey in the world of art began with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from Delhi University in 2009, followed by a Master's in Fine Arts. Over the years, I’ve explored various mediums and techniques, from realistic portrait painting and landscapes to abstract water art, charcoal shading, and pencil color work. I find inspiration in capturing intricate details while also embracing the fluidity of more abstract forms. Art, for me, is a balance between precision and freedom, and I aim to bring that into my teaching. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with schools, combining part-time freelancing with full-time teaching roles. I’ve been fortunate to contribute to institutions such as International Gautam Moral School and Narayana Concept School between 2009 and 2010. Afterward, I worked at ITC BPL in Bhadrachalam for two years, followed by seven years at Pallavi International School in Hyderabad. These experiences have enriched my understanding of art education, allowing me to engage with students from diverse backgrounds and help them nurture their creative potential. In my teaching practice, I focus on practical, hands-on learning. Whether it's offline or online, I ensure that each session is tailored to the individual needs of my students. I conduct 1-hour sessions that emphasize live interaction and demonstration. My students learn by doing, and I provide them with reference copies to guide their practice. I believe in customizing my approach based on the requirements of each student, whether they are beginners or advanced learners, encouraging them to express their creativity in a way that feels authentic to them. I have been actively involved in group art competitions, both as a participant and a mentor to my students. These competitions are a great way for students to push their boundaries, collaborate, and experience the joy of healthy competition. I always encourage participation, as I believe it helps build confidence and brings fresh perspectives to one’s artistic process. My teaching style emphasizes a practical, immersive experience where students can develop their skills through guided practice. I prefer live sessions, as they allow for real-time feedback and a more interactive learning environment. Each student receives personalized attention, and I help them refine their techniques while exploring new ones. My sessions cater to different artistic interests, whether it’s traditional fine art techniques or more contemporary styles. Teaching art has always been a rewarding experience for me. Watching my students grow as artists, discover their unique styles, and gain confidence in their abilities is incredibly fulfilling. I look forward to continuing my journey as both an artist and educator, helping others unlock their creative potential.
