During my M.A. examination in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music conducted by Bangiya Sangeet Parishad, Kolkata, in 2020, I secured the 2nd position and received a Silver Medal. These academic accomplishments have been important milestones in my musical journey and have strengthened my commitment to continuously developing my knowledge and skills. Alongside my academic journey, I have gained valuable experience as a performer. I have performed extensively in Bangalore and Chennai since 2015, including at the Tattamangalam Sasthapreethi Festival. During my studies at NIT Surat, I was honoured with the title "Nightingale of Music" for my musical performances. At IISc Bangalore, I was also an active member of Rhythmica and performed as a lead vocalist in several stage productions. I have 14 years of training in Carnatic vocal music, with enough grounding in theory to ensure that students develop a strong foundation. I draw from my past experiences—the exercises and initial lessons that helped; those that didn't, and what kept the classes I attended engaging to even those who were just getting aurally accustomed to the ancient art form that is Carnatic music. For beginners, I will begin as usual with svaravalis, but simultaneously teach other smaller compositions as the student progresses.
