Meditation helps you feel peace, focussed and calm. It helps you concentrate deeply. As far my knowledge, meditation helps you reduce anxiety, not belly fat. You can opt for yoga asanas for belly fat reduction and cardio exercises.

Meditation not about fat. If you want to lose fat, better do cardio work. Another question that even cardio work can be also your meditation.
