Is an employee eligible for gratuity who is completed 4.8 years service in a company?

Must have completed 240 days in every year continue five year. so if employee have completed 240 days in last 8 month so he will eligible for gratuity.

I have completed my BSc (CS) and post that I have wroked for Infosys Bpo (1.5 Years) and after that I made a mistake and joined an institute and started working on Biometric system and its been around 3years. Now I find no growth here and I want to switch back to an MNC, and I get interview calls but when they come to know that I am working in an institute then they dont call back.
