I would suggest you exercise much caution in this posture unless you are perfectly healthy.This posture is for the entire body, all systems including neuroendocrine system. A lot has been said about this asan in various schools of Yoga .It is only under a capable teacher that you can get correct guidance if it is good for you or not. Hope you understand my viewpoint.
