Of course they do, and always negatively. Someone hires a PT because they’ve failed at fitness previously or just don’t know what to do, and are often out of shape, lack discipline and are self conscious. A PT is the exact opposite and just can’t empathise with clients or understand why clients are like this. Hence most think their clients are losers, but of course they take your money anyway. Have you ever seen a fit person / PT who’s friends with someone who is out of shape? No, never. PTs find unfit people abhorrent and disgusting, regardless of their other skills and talents. read less

Personal trainers, like any other professionals, vary in their personalities and professionalism. In general, reputable and qualified personal trainers are trained to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment for their clients. Their primary goal is to help you achieve your fitness objectives and improve your overall well-being. Most personal trainers understand that everyone starts at a different fitness level, and they are there to guide and assist you in reaching your goals. They typically focus on your progress, provide encouragement, and offer constructive feedback to help you improve. If you ever feel judged by a personal trainer, it's essential to communicate with them about your concerns. Good trainers are receptive to feedback and can adjust their approach to better meet your needs. Remember that a positive and open line of communication is crucial for a successful trainer-client relationship. If you're considering working with a personal trainer, it may be helpful to schedule an initial consultation to discuss your goals, expectations, and any concerns you might have. read less
