During meditation always focus on ur breath, if not able to focus on that then focus on anything which u like the most( food, person, any hobby). Once you are able to focus then shift your focus on breath.

Before starting meditation seat in a comfortable position in any asanas with spine erect and body relax.Remove all unwanted thoughts from your mind and relax all the part of body by observing close eyes which will more effective for meditation. There are various ways of focusing your attention by close eyes and even open eyes. Firstly focus your attention on breath.Your mind will focus at nostril and start observing breathing pattern and while observing there may be thoughts in your mind.Try to leave those from your mind and again take your mind at nostril i.e.tip of nose. Take a candle with burning and gaze at and observe the flame of candle.Keep this candle on table infront of your eyes.and think about candle.This is very important and right practice of doing meditation. read less
