Most of the people I know are suggesting me to take Sap HR courses , Is there any other useful course that could help me getting job in HR. If so could you please suggest the course name and the institute (Hyderabad).

Nikhil I would suggest you study more details the practical things on HR, like the process of recruitment, compliance, the statutory part etc. Rest first you complete your MBA well then personally I would suggest you to get hired somewhere after getting into the real corporate scenarios you will be able to understand what else to study, as education will be a part of your job and you have to survey on various aspects like labour laws continuously, pf, pt, ESIC, new techniques on performance appraisal etc. SAP and other software are good enough, but companies themselves will help you and sponsor you to learn this software if you get hired. read less

Hii Nikhila, I would suggest you go to the field of writing. At present, this field has vast demand but less competition as in India, academic writing is not still much popular. There is a tremendous opportunity for getting foreign clients.

SAP HCM is the right course to take once you gain functional HR expertise working in a company. Successfactors is a cloud version of SAP which has very high demand due to low availability of skilled and trained candidates.

I suggest you join a firm and get exposed to real-time. After a year, if you still carry the same zeal of learning, start SAP if you are looking to be a functional consultant. If you are people-centric, join/learn legal HR.
