Hello! I’m Shruthy, a dedicated Carnatic vocal music teacher with a BA and MA in Carnatic Music. I’ve been teaching for 9 years, starting from my college days, and it has been a truly rewarding journey. My experiences working with esteemed institutions like Udupa Foundation and RTM Academy have greatly enriched my teaching, and I also conduct private classes at home, where I can give personalized attention to my students. Music has always been my passion, and I believe in making learning an enjoyable and interactive experience for my students. I offer both offline and online lessons, and the duration of each class typically ranges from 30 to 45 minutes. My teaching is designed to cater to students of all age groups, from beginners to advanced learners. During each session, I focus on practical vocal techniques, ensuring that students get a solid foundation while also encouraging them to express themselves musically. In addition to teaching, I’ve had the privilege of performing at significant events, including Rajanirajanam in Tirupati and concerts in Bangalore. These performances have been integral in shaping my own musical journey and have deepened my understanding of the art form, which I then pass on to my students. I also provide notes to my students, which help them practice and refine their vocal techniques outside of the lessons. These notes include essential tips on breath control, pitch, rhythm, and proper vocal care, all of which are crucial for advancing in Carnatic vocal music. Through my classes, I hope to inspire my students not only to master Carnatic music but also to develop a lifelong appreciation for it. Whether they’re learning for personal enrichment or aiming for performances, I’m here to guide them on their musical journey.

I am a ordent learner of Hindustani music n came from the heartland of Hindustani music Gulbarga. From childhood I was deeply attracted by clasical songs sung by my grandmother and decided to take it seriously. Winning almost at least one aword every year in our local sangit sammelan I have enjoyed the affection of music lovers in my locality.
