I am an accomplished Carnatic Music teacher who is a passionate singer, holding a Masters's degree from Madras University. I started learning music lessons at age of 6 from Chintanapalli Suryanarayana Rao. I groomed my singing style under the tutelage of Vid. Rupa Sridhar. My musical interests were shaped by Vid. MS Vidya and Vid. TS Rama. I have over eight years of teaching experience in imparting classical Carnatic music to students of all age-group. I have a Vidwat and Masters Degree in Sanskrit from the Karnataka Open University and having 8 yrs of experience in teaching Sanskrit language and Slokas for different age group people. I have been conducting Music workshops and preparing technical content for music workshops for several years. In Carnatic music, I excels in Devaranama and Annamayya compositions and has performed at various famous temples in Karnataka. Shubhasree has adopted innovative techniques to teach music to youngsters of today, who are not flexible to conform to traditional teaching methods. Using such techniques and without compromising on traditional forms, she helped a little boy of five achieve control over his speech impairment. This is a notable achievement in my career as a music teacher. I am adept with English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
