Hi, I am Sanchita Raghunath and I teach Western Vocals. I give Western vocal lessons online or in person (if student lives within 10km radius). I am a graduate AR Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory. I am Certified in Western Classical Vocals and Music Education & Community music. I was vocally trained under Liliana Shaiky (RU) for Western Classical Vocals and Robert Wilkinson (CA) for Musical Theatre. I use similar Western Classical techniques and exercises to train the voice and teach Western vocal Music, be it pop or rock or any genre that the student is interested in learning. My aim is to strengthen the voice, make the student aware of their body and to control their voice in order to produce the sound they want to.

I am a hard-working management post graduate student specialized in marketing. I did my diploma in music from pryag sangeet samiti Allahabad. I am Anurag Sahu, a Bengaluru-based musician, vocalist, songwriter, composer, performer, music educator and emerging music producer. My musical foundation is rooted in both Western Vocals and Hindustani Classical, which has helped me develop versatility across different genres and musical styles. I have 3 years of experience teaching Western Vocals and Hindustani Classical and currently work as a Western Vocal and Keyboard Faculty at Hum & Strum Music Academy, Bengaluru. Alongside teaching, I actively perform at private shows, live events and festivals, and have been performing at beach festivals and Eco Retreat experiences for five consecutive years, which has given me extensive stage experience and a strong connection with live audiences. As an independent artist, I write my own songs, compose, sing and am now expanding my journey into music production, allowing me to explore music from the first idea to the final sound. My musical influences include rock, blues, folk, soul and Indian musical traditions, and I have released my original music on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, including songs like Aadatein, Hai Dhuan Sa, Joganiyan, Sapna, Hosh, Leher Leher Mein and Durataa. For me, music is not limited to performing—it is about creating, expressing, connecting and constantly evolving as an artist. My journey so far has been about bringing together my experience as a performer, creator and educator, while continuing to develop my own unique sound and identity in the music industry.

I am a retired Western Music teacher for Vocal (Rock & Pop) and Piano (Classical). I teach the Trinity College, London curriculum. Once trained, my students get over stage fright, develop self-confidence and enhance their self-esteem too. They learn good diction, articulation, correct pronunciation, modulation of voice, etc. I have 40+ years experience in teaching different facets of western music. I have taught music in various International schools in Bangalore. I have done my grades in music through the Trinity College, London. I teach music at my place as I need certain facilities like the Piano, a Mic, speakers etc. to teach vocal music. I have sent several batches of students up for their grade exams in Vocals and have always got a cent percent result, with mostly distinctions and some merits.
