I am a full time professional drum teacher who started teaching from 2004 and has more than 12 years of teaching experience. I have worked as a drum teacher in Abu Dhabi (UAE) for 2 years. I train students for Trinity drum exams also.On six occasions my students have come top in the exams conducted at Bangalore centre. I generally teach piano accompaniment techniques to the beginners, who don't have any prior knowledge of playing piano. Piano Accompaniment consist of the basic training of playing piano with just knowing the chords of the song at that moment. I also have prior experience of teaching basic music theory and stuff. Students generally show their interest in learning songs and so, as they don't want to spend much time in learning part I teach particular songs also. I have taught 4 students so far. He has done many stage shows and won several music competitions. He was among the top 100 in the Mumbai auditions for SAREGAMAPA. He has been a performer since his school days and has done over 100 stage shows. He is passionate about providing a 360 degree understanding of music to his students. The base would be formed through swara sadhana, taal and laya; followed by Ragas and Khayal. He would also teach scientific vocal exercises for voice power, pitching range and stability. He would work on the elimination of stage fear, mike handling, singing with tracks etc. For the interested students he would teach about setting up performance systems, microphones, amplifiers, mixers, sound editing and other technical aspects of music production and performance.
