I am a professional and an enthusiastic teacher! I'd like to share the knowledge to my students which i recieved from my Guru's and put fullest extent of dedication towards better learning of students in carnatic violin. I've been learning violin since 1996 in carnatic classical music stream. I am pursuing my vidwat in carnatic violin. I am having 10 years of teaching experience and continuing to train more and more students.

I am South Indian classical flutist from Bangalore . I maintain blog called carnatic music repository. I am an engineer by education and a flutist by passion. I am playing flute from 1992 under the guidance of veteran flutist Sangeeta Kalaratna Vidwan B Shankar Rao , a direct and one of the senior most disciples of flute maestro T R Mahalingam. I have attended carnatic vocal music workshops conducted by doyens of Carnatic music like Sangeeta kalanidhi Sri Nedunuri Krishnamurthy, Prince Rama Varma and Chitraveena N Ravikiran. I am performing artist and very passionate about teaching flute and vocal music. I have given several flute concerts and stage performances. I have presented demonstration lecture on 'Holistic Aspects of Music Therapyâ?? in an international seminar, â??Sambrahmaâ??, conducted at Kannada Bhavan in August 2007, which was well received, appreciated and mentioned in The Hindu newspaper.

I have been teaching guitar since 2012 to beginners/intermediate comprising of working professionals, children around 8-16 years of age and people who thought they were too old to learn guitar(my favorite people) Why should we work together? Simple, as a beginner in 2004/05, I struggled a lot while learning guitar as like most, I was not a natural or genius. I discovered even the smallest of things by practicing very hard and also made a lot of mistakes. So, I have been there, struggled and eventually achieved. My mission is to save beginners from the mistakes I made and make the learning process fun, smooth, inspiring. My sessions are to the point and crisp. I make the concepts easy to apply and take action on quickly. My focus will be on basics for the first six months as these will be the skills that will remain with you for a lifetime even if you do not play guitar post that!!! Learning methodology revolves around the quote"It’s a sum of small actions and choices students make from day to day that most people aren’t willing to take", basically FOCUSED practice, making sure students know what and how to practice post class. The ultimate objective is to understand the instrument, its sound and be independent with it. This implies being able to figure out stuff on your own without being dependent on the internet and other sources.

Started learning the art of Tabla at a tender age under the guidance of Vid.Bhaskar Hegde in his native Sagar,Shimoga.Then continued his training under his Guru Pt.Madivalayya Sali of Banaras Gharana. Right now he is learning under the guidance of his Guru, Pt. Udayraj Karpoor, an eminent artist in today's date. A post graduate in music from Karnatak University,Shouri has been an awardee of a Gold medal in his Bachelors degree for Tabla.He has received the prestigious "Ministry of culture's" scholarship given for young artists.
