I've been learning violin since 1996 in carnatic classical music stream. I am pursuing my vidwat in carnatic violin. Started learning the art of Tabla at a tender age under the guidance of Vid.Bhaskar Hegde in his native Sagar,Shimoga.Then continued his training under his Guru Pt.Madivalayya Sali of Banaras Gharana. Right now he is learning under the guidance of his Guru, Pt. Udayraj Karpoor, an eminent artist in today's date. A post graduate in music from Karnatak University,Shouri has been an awardee of a Gold medal in his Bachelors degree for Tabla.He has received the prestigious "Ministry of culture's" scholarship given for young artists. Ragamika School Of Music founded by Latha Venugopalan, a professional and qualified Veena Teacher with over 20 years experience in teaching and performing various concerts in Bangalore and in South India. I offer the teach students Karnatic Music (classical) on Veena for all age group with individual attention. Will be teaching the syllabus of Karnataka State Education Board for Classical Music.
