To get a serious / semi serious student through the basics and into an intermediate level of playing is not a problem at all.

There is no teaching method as such. The approach for teaching will be very casual ,just like talking to a friend. Though there are steps for learning guitar which starts from the very individual itself . You can't play if you don't feel it. After that we can only go to some basic of holding a guitar ,basic chords , strumming etc. I have been playing acoustic guitar for last 5 years . I can teach from basic to intermediate.
