I am a Biochemistry postgraduate, currently working as an editor for a Pharmaceutical Company. I have learnt Bharatnatyam and Kathak on and off and I am passionate about dance. I have had the pleasure of teaching both kids and adults who wanted to learn Bollywood dance purely for the joy it brings them along with teaching them for different events like Independence Day, Republic Day, etc. I believe that dance is an expression of joy and creativity that transcends formal qualifications. My sessions begin with a warm-up cardio-based workout, progressing into the main workout before concluding with a cool-down. I also add Indian regional songs to add flavours to the sessions. I offer customised personal diet plans to ensure my clients receive the best results from my sessions. My sessions are designed to be attended by beginners and advanced-level individuals of all ages. I focus on combining yoga, Zumba workout, and live, fun-filled sessions that keep my clients engaged and motivated. As a dance instructor, I find immense joy in seeing my clients transform themselves, not just physically but also mentally. Dancing is not just a form of exercise but also a way to release stress, improve mood, and boost overall well-being. And this is what I aim to achieve through my sessions.

Sutapa Talukdar, Guru Giridhari Nayak and Smt. Rina Jana. Samhati’s parents, who were great connoisseurs of art, has always been her sole inspiration. She has presented a number of solo dance recitals in several prestigious dance festivals in India and in different parts of the world. She has also choreographed a number of dance productions of her own. Apart from Odissi, she also teaches Semi-classical, Bollywood, Folk and Rabindranritya dance forms.
