Like everything has a basis for existence. Every treatment method has a principle, the main philosophy, and a rule. Similarly, the basis of Yoga is Pancha Kosha, Pancha Tattva, Prana, Atma, our pure knowledge. As the practice of Asana purifies your body, it becomes strong and flexible. Pranayama increases energy, vitality, and vitality. The practice of Manomaya Kosha, which you can also call the practice of Pratyahara, can know the fickleness of the mind and its qualities. Understanding and knowing the mind through meditation helps in increasing the power of the mind, and willpower. Which ultimately unites us with our true nature. We and our life become Satyam Shivam Sundaram.

Morning walk and yoga have their own importance, we cannot say good about any one. It depends on the purpose for which you want to practice and how is your physical condition. If you are not old then according to my experience yoga is the best because by practicing yoga you can keep all the parts of the body fine and achieve complete health. With yoga practice you can manage many health issues like hypertension different joints 0ain arthritis etc. overall yoga is good

Hari om, both have different purposes & effects but both are complimentary for each other because exercise will prepare your body for meditation if your body is ready to sit for 20-30 minutes without any difficulties then you can meditate. Meditation is like salt in curry & vegetable, without salt curry won't seem tasty & exercise is your vegetable.
