Science behind the spiritual path of 'Maha Yoga' - Divine Grace.

Vaidhyanath

I have been teaching Athma Vichara Yoga - the supreme meditation of Upanishads as taught by Bhagavan...

Science tells us that every so-called human being emits a certain frequency, a certain vibration of different colours. Occultists call this an aura. Science tells us that every so-called human being emits a certain frequency, a certain vibration of different colours. Occultists call this an aura. And all of the auras emitted by individuals are basically the same. Some are more static, some are more rajastic, some are more tamas, some are more pure than others, but they're basically the same. Therefore, when you help the homeless, you are merging your vibratory force with theirs, and you are lifting yourselves up together to a higher frequency. This is because there's only one Self.

Now, the frequency vibration of the Sage is a hundred million times stronger than the human vibration. This frequency is called divine grace. Now can you see why it says in all of the highest scriptures that to be of service to the Sage is the highest sadhana you can perform? For when you are of service to the Sage you're mingling your aura with the sage's aura. And, since the sage's so-called form that emits an aura is a million times stronger than the human being's, Sage's vibrations, which is called divine grace, lifts up the human being to a high frequency and releases them from karmic influences and sets them free.

As long as you believe you are a human being you have to perform a service to each other, to everybody. When you awaken, you will be yourself, and you will be served. You will be compassion. You will be wisdom. You will be an embodiment of humility.

If you're interested in to know yourself, you should look inward.
It's a well-known fact that 'everything happens for a reason.' Then, what is the purpose of you coming in this world? Why did you take birth? Is it a freewill or really a myth?

If you're a seeker of such answers, you should look inward. Looking inward into your life or your existence (with open or closed eyes) is called "meditation" in English. Actually, the word "meditation" comes from a version of 'medication'. If someone is ill from the body, the doctor gives him medication. Similarly, if someone is ill from the mind, meditation is suggested. But these are limited to health only - it may be bodily or mind-related.

Actually, the "meditation" is the wrong word for this. There is no such word in English. In Sanskrit/Hindi/Marathi any many other Indian languages, we call it Dhyan, Dhyana or Dhyanam. The Japanese word "Zen" is also the same and derived from Sanskrit word "Dhyan".

I've spent nights in the Himalayas and visited many Gurus to learn different types of techniques and styles of Dhyana. I want to share this knowledge with you all (free) as this is how got it.

Practicing Anapanasati meditation according to the spiritual experiences and spiritual knowledge of the Sadhak Anshit

is very simple, and the difficulty is not in the same. It is very easy. Anyone can start practicing Anapanasati meditation directly, only to be cautious of her general breathing - questionnaire.
In Pali language,

'An' means breathing

'Apan' means breathing

'Sati' means 'to be together'

Gautam Buddha taught this method of meditation thousands of years ago. We breathe all of us, but we are not conscious of this action. In 'Anapanasati', a person needs to keep his complete focus and awareness on his normal respiratory process. It is necessary that we keep our eye on consciousness consciously, the operation of breath should be moving naturally. Do not stop breathing in any form, nor do it keep on sticking. We do not have to try to bring any kind of change in its speed on our part. When the mind starts running around, it should immediately stop the thoughts and bring the meditation on the normal rhythm of breath. Leaving yourself loosened should become an observer only.

While practicing Anapanasati, we can do two things together: to observe your breath and to do the other thing - to let your consciousness expand ... to increase awareness. Being conscious of breath means not to let thoughts control the mind. These thoughts only drag our energy and scatter them. That is why the cycle of thoughts should be stopped with birth. Observation of breath means that we should not look at any of our physical senses or thoughts in our form by affecting the rhythm of our breath, only look at it.

Sadhak Anshit explain that when the energy of the soul is expended by our troubled and eternal thoughts, then our physical body becomes weak. In such a situation, there are various types of external attacks. In effect, a person gets many diseases, old age comes and soon he becomes a victim of death. Those who do not refine their mind, their mind remains unsteady. Just as a farm, which is not prepared for agriculture, is filled with rubbish, in the same way an autocratic mind is filled with unwanted ideas. So in the beginning, meditation means making the mind calm and unstable. Soon a deep resting stage is achieved. When the mind becomes empty with thoughts then huge amount of global energy starts filling in the body. As we go into meditation, new intense experience, The new scenes make us and we reunite with world-consciousness. We reach a world full of surprises which are waiting for us. The more effort you make, the easier it becomes to get awareness.

To become Anapanasati meditator, there is no need to go to any ashram. Neither does he have to go to a holy place or sacrifice his responsibilities. We can live our normal life and can see how the power of meditation makes us better in every field. At the beginning it would be good to be meditated in the presence of senior masters. Their energy level is high and energy flows from them towards those whose energy level is low. Once we understand the way and expect no master or master attendance. Then we can practice it anytime, anywhere, with our will. It also has no unpleasant side effects. We can also evaluate our progress by sharing our experiences with senior mediapersons. It is art, then the benefits on the old deliver to everyone.

This meditation is a great gift that can give your life to your own efforts. 'Spiritual health' is a very important and integral part of our total health, which every person needs. Anapasansati meditation meets this requirement. Thus, if 'spiritual health' is rooted then 'physical health' is its fruit. By meditation, one can understand the true reason behind his physical ailments.

According to the instructions of the participants, keep awake with breath, will become the center of awareness within you ... Then your body will become the universe.

The basic nature of human beings is happiness. We are born happy. As we grow, we receive millions of bits of information through sight, sound, smell, taste and touch and our basic state of happiness gradually changes to the state of fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. We start searching happiness outside the world around us. We strive to achieve our goals and achieve material possessions of various things with a firm belief to get back our basic state of happiness with which we were born. This search is unending. We do get momentary happiness and pleasure which vanishes fast, and it goes on. In this pursuit, we lose health, peace of mind and live in a state of stress and anxiety continuously. If we have to live with dignity and abundance the above process is essential but we have to find some other real and definite way to achieve happiness along with it. Let us try to examine this in a simple logical way. The happiness is our basic nature. We have lost it due to stress, anxiety, and feeling of uncertainty of future, a fear of something unknown which may deprive me of what I have achieved with great struggle. A constant feeling of unknown fear, something may wrong. It is clear when fear, stress, anxiety goes high the happiness goes low and when fear, stress, anxiety gets low the happiness goes high. Now the big question is how do we lower fear, stress, and anxiety?  It seems difficult, it is not, and it is easy if we entrain our mind. Now the question arises how do we do that?  To find an answer we look back to ancient life style. Our enlightened Gurus used to Meditate. Meditation in simplicity is a training of the mind to calm down. It is simple, take out twenty minutes daily out of your busy schedule to Meditate.

  • Spirituality in essence is to know the self and relating to other selves!

  • Meditation helps one to stay spiritual.

  • Being in meditation can be achieved in all circumstances, even when roaming in a shopping mall.

  • Mind always craves for the stimulation of senses: Food and beverages, good sight, melodious sound, nice smell, good feeling of surroundings.

  • If not for any of the above, stimulation for the thought is high on agenda!

  • Stimulation of thought like to read, listen or watch intellectual/spiritual/literary works.

  • Can we get out of this harping for this or that sensation and just be for some time?

  • Shopping mall provides great opportunity for practicing ‘being in meditation’.

  • It has all the glitzy stuff displayed through the windows of shops, food courts, cinema hall, and variety of people streaming in and out of this place.

  • Now it is easy to be in meditation. Just be aware of all the things (sights, sounds, smell and feel of the place) and cut off any thoughts that arises on any or combination of those sensations around. And see what happens in your being.

  • This practice trains the mind to be quiet and be at our service only if called for!

Most people tend to believe that all types of meditations are the same. It is common to hear about the benefits of “meditation,” but most people don’t know that there are different benefits to be obtained based specifically on the type of meditation practice pursued. One person may practice Vipassana meditation a.k.a. “mindfulness” and reap numerous benefits, while another may practice Transcendental meditation and get an entirely different beneficial effect.

Focusing the attention on a single object during the whole meditation session. This object may be the breath, a mantra, visualisation, part of the body, external object, etc. As the practitioner advances, his ability to keep the flow of attention in the chosen object gets stronger, and distractions become less common and short-lived. Both the depth and steadiness of his attention are developed.

Examples of these are Samatha (Buddhist meditation), Loving Kindness Meditation, Chakra Meditation, Kundalini Meditation, Sound Meditation, Mantra Meditation, Pranayama, some forms of Qigong, and many others.
In some meditation Instead of focusing the attention on any one object, we keep it open, monitoring all aspects of our experience, without judgment or attachment. All perceptions, be them internal (thoughts, feelings, memory, etc.) or external (sound, smell, etc.), are recognised and seen for what they are. It is the process of non-reactive monitoring of the content of experience from moment to moment, without going into them. Examples are Mindfulness meditation, Vipassana, as well as some types of Taoist Meditation.

Meditation is rest, absolute rest, a full stop to all activity, physical, mental, emotional. When you are in such a deep rest that nothing stirs in you when all action as such ceases, as if you are fast asleep yet awake, you come to know who you are. Suddenly the window opens. It cannot be opened by effort because effort creates tension and tension is the cause of our whole misery. Hence this is something very fundamental to be understood that meditation is not effort.

Meditation is nothing but trying to clean your being, trying to become fresh and young, trying to become more alive and more alert. If you are afraid of meditation it means you are afraid of life, you are afraid of awareness, and the resistance comes because you know that if you move into meditation, something is bound to happen. If you are not resisting at all, it may be because you don't take meditation very seriously, you don't take meditation very sincerely. Then you can play around: what is there to be afraid of?

Meditation is a good choice to reduce stress, but the question is what kind of stress you have?? reason of stress could be anything like if you do more analytical job you can have mental stress, students can have it because of their studies. somebody who travels a lot or having a job where he or she walks more or stands for a longer he might feel physical stress. somebody who works on computer for a longer time can feel stress on their shoulders. somebody who drives more can feel stress on his back and shoulders. for some everything is fine but have stress due to family problems or relationships. i mean to say the type and reason for stress could be different so meditation technique should be also different. For example if somebody works in a sitting position and have a back problem,he needs to consult a physiotherapist or doctor. He needs to change his sitting posture as he cant change his job. now this physical stress which caused him mental stress because it was his affecting his efficiency at work and he felt his boss might not be happy as he needs to take some rest from duty or he may get fired because he is not able to do his job properly. If he gets off from office now he could be stressed because of expense he had to do without earning. in family also people will be thinking from when he will be going to office again as it might be affecting his family life. So reason could be anything. Meditation calms your mind helps you to get away from mental busyness which might be sometime meaning less thoughts of fear about job, life, family anything. meditation put you in a state where your mind, body and soul is in resonance which is called alpha state. to start find a calm place where you could not be disturbed ,switched off your phone, make place a bit sacred by lighting a incense.find a posture you are most comfortable with, get some music and use head phone deep breathe for some time, inhale from nose, exhale from mouth. Now visualize the problem which caused you the stress, from the very beginning and focus on it now start seeing the things in apposite way and in the end of the visualization you can see everything is fine. that you can do for a week or the time you feel the most. see if you need more guidance for the meditation better you discuss with me on phone i would try to help you on this. read less
