I was blessed to attend "Happiness Program" through Art of Living at Satyendra sir's residence in Pune. It was early morning. Many people might not even wake up at that time but with spirituality this is something you must be prepared for any time. When I reached his flat, he was already waiting for me. It was a hall attached to the entrance of his 2bhk, he has made it sure it has almost no furniture in it, only the mats that covered the entire floor. There was Gurudev's (Sri Sri Ravishankar's ) portrait in a corner, which was not too big, not too small, just apt. I believe Satyendra sir regularly lights up a Diya to him. Satyendra sir welcomed me in and asked me to sit and exchanged casual talks so that we both do not remain strangers any more. For all three days of the program he made it sure that communication remains the key not just the theory or yogic practice alone be done. I spent three days with every day stretching from 3-4 hours. During this time, I learnt some pranayam techniques, many yoga postures including Surya Namaskar and more importantly Sudarshan Kriya. Of the first two days you will get to do the Long Sudarshan Kriya which will be in Sri Sri Ravi shankar's voice directly. That will be direct initiation. On the last day, I was given guidance on how can I continue all of my practices by myself at home, what I would need and where I can get it. Good thing is regular follow up afterwards.
