Yoga is a combination of body, breath, and mind. By practicing yoga techniques, the mind is clutter-free and remains peaceful. Additionally, one can find increased Immune response, flexibility, endurance, and fitness. In my yoga classes have found several students commenting on relief of pain, more peaceful living, and being happier than ever. Some of the students got their back pain relieved and some got relieved from severe sciatica pain.

"Suresh Sir is a true Guru in aachar, vichar, vachan and karama. That is, he is the embodiment of a true teacher when it comes to his behaviour, thinking, words and duty as a teacher. His experience reflects in how he gently but firmly guides you to better yourself. He understands your capabilities and pushes you to do better. In just about 15 classes my flexibility, stamina, strength, and endurance has increased manifold. I have been able to perform asanas such as the padmasasna which I could not achieve under the best of teacher. I am blessed to have him as a teacher and cannot truly express in words how much I have gained from just a few classes under his guidance."

It is good to learn Yoga from an experienced teacher first and then follow books. This is my personal experience. However, the book that you can follow is "Asana, Pranayama Mudra Bandha", authored by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. This book is my favorite.
