If you're interested in to know yourself, you should look inward. It's a well-known fact that 'everything happens for a reason.' Then, what is the purpose of you coming in this world? Why did you take birth? Is it a freewill or really a myth?
If you're a seeker of such answers, you should look inward. Looking inward into your life or your existence (with open or closed eyes) is called "meditation" in English. Actually, the word "meditation" comes from a version of 'medication'. If someone is ill from the body, the doctor gives him medication. Similarly, if someone is ill from the mind, meditation is suggested. But these are limited to health only - it may be bodily or mind-related.
Actually, the "meditation" is the wrong word for this. There is no such word in English. In Sanskrit/Hindi/Marathi any many other Indian languages, we call it Dhyan, Dhyana or Dhyanam. The Japanese word "Zen" is also the same and derived from Sanskrit word "Dhyan".
I've spent nights in the Himalayas and visited many Gurus to learn different types of techniques and styles of Dhyana. I want to share this knowledge with you all (free) as this is how got it.
