All you have to do is become aware of your breathing pattern when eve you're anxious or you feel that you ar in the cobweb of darkness where you your emotions are so heightened that you can't control what's going on with you. After becoming aware, sit or even lie down in savasana Practice deep abdominal breathing. Get relaxed. Chant the mantra Om either mentally or verbally. Relax, relax, relax and slowly the body will leave it's nature of attacking your senses. After detaching your mind and body from each other by the power of breath (prana), youll be able to calm yourself.. That state itself for you is a meditative beginning state. Om Shanti. read less
