I started my journey of music when I was 3, my first guru being my mother who has done Ganabhushan in Kerala(Palakkad). During my school days, I was in a place called Harihar in Karnataka where I took part in number of competitions and bagged prizes and also nurtured my music with the music teacher in my school, who also taught me folk music, light music and a little of hindusthani music, along with my mother's teachings.
