I am a Tabla artist. I have been performing from past 15 years in which have been accompanying Stalwarts in prestigious music festivals across the country in all genres of music. I have a student base at Basavanagudi and been training students acrooss the globe from past 10 years.

I started my journey at the age of 8. The call of rhythm and a strong backing from my Family saw me placed under the able guidance of Sri Nagaraj Rao Gaikwad, a very inspiring and knowledgeable Tabla Teacher in Bangalore. A young and dynamic musician, I was quick to enter the Concert Arena and have received critical acclaim for my performances in India and Abroad. My artistry lies in the capability to accompany Hindustani Vocal and Instrumental Music with equal ease, at the same time feeling very much at home in presenting the truly traditional Tabla Solo format. My forte also lies in blending my style with the dynamism of Fusion and World Music, and the complicated Mathematics of Carnatic Music

I'm a mrundangam teacher teaching mrudanga, tabala(carnatic) and ghatam for around 20 years and for all age group of students. I was working as a mechanical engineer and quit the job and started following My passion for past 2 decades of teaching and accompanying for musicians in various concerts.

The institute was established in the year 2005 by Sri K R Bhonsley (Rtd. Physical Education Teacher). Sri K R Bhonsley is a President awardee and has students across the globe. Teachers also include Akshay Bhonsley and Arpith Bhonsley who teach Tabla and Drums respectively and are recognized artists in the State. We teach Tabla, Keyboard and Drums which also includes examination for the above instruments from recognized universities. There are more than 100 students who are learning Keyboard across the city. I have more than 20 years of experience in Hindustani style Tabla playing teaching and training, accompaning for classical and light classical hindustani music and sugama sangeet, many of my students have passed degree exams in tabla and I have performed in many prestagious, platforms also accompanied with Pt.Bhimsen joshi,Pt Shashank katti (sitar) and many artists of our country. served as music lecturer in SSM college Raichur, Kendriya vidyalaya Raichur,etc.

I have done my 'Visharad' under Lucknow University (Bhatkhanda). Performed in school, college & also in various cultural programme apart from performing in TV & Radio. I have been instrumental in playing not only Tabla, also Mridangam, KHOL,Dholok,etc. My way of teaching is purely traditional & I encourage people to learn rhythm first, create interest & ensure learning by practice & performance only. We learn by more & more practice & by experience while performing. I also encourage ladies to learn Tabla & teach their wards subsequently. Music plays an important role to eradicate all illness & brings peace & harmony in family. It also bonds family & strengthens togetherness. Another way of looking into learning Tabla is that it helps improve concentration & confidence.
