A liking for percussion and rhythm since childhood caused Vighnesh to be initiated into Tabla by T. Haridas Pai under whom he trained for a period of 3 years. Further he was trained under Shri Bhimashankar Bidanur, Mysuru for two years. A Polymer Science Engineer by Qualification, Vighnesh followed his passion for tabla, taking it as a full time profession. Since 2011 he has been receiving Taleem from the illustrious Tabla Maestro, Dr. Aneesh Pradhan, Mumbai. Currently he is pursuing MA in Tabla from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. It has been a blessing for him to have accompanied veteran musicians of Hindustani Classical Music such as Pt. Tulsidas Borkar, Pt. Prabhakar Dharmadhikari, Pt. Murli Manohar Shukla, Archana Kanhere, Shubha Mudgal, Upendra Bhat, Devaki Pandit, Sudhir Nayak, Ustad Rafique Khan, Krishnendra Wadikar etc. Vighnesh has travelled and performed extensively in and around the country.

I am an expert in the Percussion instrument, passionately practicing my skills as a Tabla artist/player for over 15 years now. In all these years, I have invested undivided attention towards the instrument, to observe, learn, and understand the subtle nuances, as well as skills required to ascend and ascertain his craftmanship with the Tabla Instrument. Being a disciple of Kiran Godkhindi, i have been at his best to continue with the Guru-Shishya parampara, that he imbibed during his learning days, where he is now more eager than ever before, to share his insights about various aspects of the instrument, music, and other related subjects. And thus, he’s all the more excited and looking forward to teaching, as well practice Hindustani Classical music, in schools, institutes as well as online classes, to cover a vast set of modes and mediums. Blessed with keen hand-eye coordination, Harsha R got introduced to Tabla at the tender age of 10, when he accompanied his uncle for theatre shows, stage performances, musical events, and other extravaganza events that invoked a festive atmosphere. His performances are greatly influenced by folk art that has inspired him the most, since his childhood.

I have ten years of experience in the field of music. I am proud to have obtained a 2nd-grade certification from Trinity School of London, specialising in Carnatic music. Throughout my musical journey, I have been greatly inspired by the renowned composer Hamsalekha. Over the years, I have been privileged to perform in numerous Carnatic shows, film music projects, Sambrama events, Parivala concerts, and live music projects for movies. I have also showcased my talent in folk programs designed explicitly for the Mandolin. One of the highlights of my career was attending the National Music Festival in Goa, where I participated as a Mandolin artist and was honoured with an award by carloaonzo.com. As an experienced musician, I offer both online and offline music lessons. I specialise in teaching Mandolin and keyboard to students seven years and older. My teaching approach incorporates a well-structured Carnatic lesson plan complemented by practical sessions that blend Carnatic music with Western influences. I can also provide guidance and support to those preparing for Trinity exams, offering assistance in terms of recommended resources, video lessons, comprehensive notes, practice assignments, and exercises. Music education should be holistic, catering to each student's needs and interests. Therefore, my teaching style is adaptable, ensuring that my students receive personalised attention and guidance throughout their musical journey.
