Passionate Hindustani Classical Tabla Player and Teacher. Polymer Engineer and Master of Arts (Tabla) by qualification. I take one on one and group classes in and around South Bangalore. A liking for percussion and rhythm since childhood caused Vighnesh to be initiated into Tabla by T. Haridas Pai under whom he trained for a period of 3 years. Further he was trained under Shri Bhimashankar Bidanur, Mysuru for two years. A Polymer Science Engineer by Qualification, Vighnesh followed his passion for tabla, taking it as a full time profession. Since 2011 he has been receiving Taleem from the illustrious Tabla Maestro, Dr. Aneesh Pradhan, Mumbai. Currently he is pursuing MA in Tabla from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. It has been a blessing for him to have accompanied veteran musicians of Hindustani Classical Music such as Pt. Tulsidas Borkar, Pt. Prabhakar Dharmadhikari, Pt. Murli Manohar Shukla, Archana Kanhere, Shubha Mudgal, Upendra Bhat, Devaki Pandit, Sudhir Nayak, Ustad Rafique Khan, Krishnendra Wadikar etc. Vighnesh has travelled and performed extensively in and around the country.

I am a Master of Arts student specializing in Sanskrit, deeply passionate about Indian classical culture and philosophy. As a dedicated Tabla player. I am learning under the guidance of Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra, which has enriched my understanding of rhythm and classical music. My interests extend to exploring diverse philosophies, poetry, and the arts, reflecting a broad enthusiasm for cultural heritage and intellectual pursuits. Through my studies and musical training, I strive to bridge traditional knowledge with contemporary perspectives, continuously seeking growth as a scholar and artist.

I am an expert in the Percussion instrument, passionately practicing my skills as a Tabla artist/player for over 15 years now. In all these years, I have invested undivided attention towards the instrument, to observe, learn, and understand the subtle nuances, as well as skills required to ascend and ascertain his craftmanship with the Tabla Instrument. Being a disciple of Kiran Godkhindi, i have been at his best to continue with the Guru-Shishya parampara, that he imbibed during his learning days, where he is now more eager than ever before, to share his insights about various aspects of the instrument, music, and other related subjects. And thus, he’s all the more excited and looking forward to teaching, as well practice Hindustani Classical music, in schools, institutes as well as online classes, to cover a vast set of modes and mediums. Blessed with keen hand-eye coordination, Harsha R got introduced to Tabla at the tender age of 10, when he accompanied his uncle for theatre shows, stage performances, musical events, and other extravaganza events that invoked a festive atmosphere. His performances are greatly influenced by folk art that has inspired him the most, since his childhood.

I am a teacher by passion, I enjoy helping students with all my knowledge and believe in the power of knowledge. I have always been enthusiastic and always find new new ways to train my students. With some 7+ years into efficient mentoring, my way of coaching is unique and ensure the methodical learning of my students. With efficient use of Technological aids, visual aids, Traditional Lecture, Scientific evaluation systems and energetic mentoring, I make learning fun and never like before.
