When we began classes in May 2021—during the period just after the COVID pandemic—she had to start learning online. As a mother, I was initially unsure about online learning, but very soon I realised that she was in the best hands. Her steady improvement, confidence, and growing love for music made it clear that choosing Mr. Roy through UrbanPro was the right decision. "My daughter Abdhija Chiki has been learning Keyboard playing under guidance of Kunal Roy sir since May 2021. When the World became standstill for the 2nd phase of Corona Virus attack, my little daughter began her musical journey. Though online class, Sir made us to believe that she will learn the exactly what the offline students learn. Now, we feel how true he was. Krunal Sir's love, dedication for music inspires my daughter a lot. He is very serious, strict and the same time very caring and affectionate teacher. He never likes to miss any class and gives importance to the basics of music. "I am a working professional and had no idea about piano before I started learning. It was always my wish to learn, and Kunal Sir helped me make that dream come true. "I have been learning piano under Kunal Sir for two years, and the journey has been truly transformative. From a complete beginner, I recently completed my Level-2 exam with a 95% score and can confidently play several Western and Indian pieces with both hands. Kunal Sir is committed and encouraging. Classes are structured, mistakes are corrected promptly, and I always leave with clear guidance. His support has been invaluable while balancing work and family. Initially, playing on the beat, hand independence, and performing songs end-to-end were challenging, but I’ve made great progress. "I am an adult Piano learner from Bangalore of 43 years old. Have been practicing and taking Piano lessons (from Beginner level) from Kunal sir for last ~10 months and I highly recommend the classes. The approach is completely different from traditional approach (as someone who had taken that approach before). Kunal sir's focus lies on building the fundamentals around enjoying the music while building music skills around that. I have been taking lessons one at a time each of them building on previous lessons. The lessons started with finger exercises, chords, arpeggios and now have gradually come into playing songs in the last few months for me. Kunal sir is very punctual and holds you accountable - which I believe is one of the major reasons I can see progress in where I stand today compared to how I started. More importantly for me, I believe I can see how things are progressing and there is a structured approach to learning Piano while still enjoying music. I highly recommend Kunal sir's classes for the structured approach, holding yourself accountable and highly professional (still friendly/flexible) approach towards his teaching. "Initially I went through the review posted here and got enrolled . After 3 months of learning,I came to know that what my daughter learnt was in an old pattern and obsolete, very less content taught, and she started losing interest from the 2nd month , repeating and repeating with a change of tempo only. In the first three months she played the same scale with the same tune on different tempo. Last 8 sessions tempo changes , nothing else on learning new things , just time pass, attended other students parallelly , which was not accepted at all as commited 1-1 initially..We got fed-up with this tempo, what a type of boring learning process taught to her. We spent 3 months of time and money but the return was not as expected .Now my daughter is learning under different tutors in the international standard following "Trinity college curriculum "and progress is far better than 500% and good technique and curriculum. My intention is not to hurt anyone and to respect all teachers but wants to alert other parents, they must not be misguided as I did, Please check the pattern and courses with teaching techniques first, not go through only the review here."
