You learn when you are comfortable.
Between the two.. it's electric guitar... But once you learn how to play acoustic guitar... You won't find it very difficult to handle electric guitar.... ( Some say otherwise because the strings of electric guitar don't hurt the fingers... So people who start with electric guitar find it quite difficult to play acoustic guitar)
