Between the two.. it's electric guitar... But once you learn how to play acoustic guitar... You won't find it very difficult to handle electric guitar.... ( Some say otherwise because the strings of electric guitar don't hurt the fingers... So people who start with electric guitar find it quite difficult to play acoustic guitar)

For most people, an "acoustic guitar" is generally considered better if you want a versatile instrument that can play a wide variety of genres, while a "classical guitar" is better if you specifically want to play classical music or prefer a softer, mellower sound thanks to its nylon strings, which are easier on the fingers for beginners; essentially, the best choice depends on the type of music you want to play. 

The right way to learn guitar depends on your goals, but here’s a structured approach that works for beginners and beyond:

1. Get the Right Guitar

• Choose acoustic if you want to play folk, pop, or singer-songwriter styles.
• Choose electric if you're into rock, metal, blues, or jazz.
• Make sure it's set up properly to avoid high action (which makes it harder to press strings).

2. Learn the Basics First

Tuning – Learn how to tune your guitar (use a tuner app or clip-on tuner).
Proper Posture & Hand Positioning – Hold the guitar correctly to avoid bad habits.
Basic Open Chords – Start with C, G, D, A, E, Am, Em, Dm.
Strumming Patterns – Practice different rhythms to develop timing.
Finger Strength & Dexterity – Simple exercises like the 1-2-3-4 finger exercise.

3. Play Songs Early On

• Find easy songs that use the chords you’ve learned (e.g., "Knocking on Heaven’s Door," "Wonderwall").
• Strum along with recordings to build rhythm.

4. Learn Scales & Theory (Gradually)

• Pentatonic scale (great for rock and blues solos).
• Major & Minor scales (helps with melodies and soloing).
• Basic Music Theory (chord construction, progressions, keys).

5. Develop Picking Techniques

• Alternate picking (down-up strokes for speed).
• Fingerpicking (for classical, folk, or fingerstyle).
