Ask a Question
There is no such thing as a best meditative class. Because meditation is subjective. What can be meditative for one, may not be meditative for others. You must find your own practice that interests you, where you find yourself completely absorbed. It need not be sitting at one place with your eyes closed. The goal of meditation is to remove the unnecessary burdensome thoughts which are no use or good to your peace. If that's happening, if any activity is making that happen, you are indeed in a meditative state.
Hope this answers your question.

Meditation is anything where in you are in continuous focus, a complete state of absorption. The classes are hence build in a way wherein the mind is brought to focus. It can start from a simple asana practice that coordinates body and mind through breath, or you can have mantras or japa in the asanas practice along with the moment, as directed by your instructor. Then the practice session can also further involving breathing techniques (pranayama) that suits the practitioner (status of mind body), depending on the weather as well. The practitioner can be prepared now to do a practice that just involves sitting in a comfortable posture keeping focus on breath(conscious breathing) or focus in between the eyebrows or the base of the spine or the naval. The practice can then end with a basic conscious breathing exercise. Hence concludes the meditation class.
