IdentityI has been conducting cookery classes for the last 30 years.Based in Bangalore, she regularly gets students from all over India who specifically come to attend her classes. I has taught students from countries across the globe,from the USA, UK, Hawaii, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka,Spain,etc.
I teaches over 25 cuisines: Indian, Continental & Chinese. Her speciality lies in hands-on teaching where learners get to know not just the basics but also personally try their hand at cooking. Her approach is down to earth, which makes cooking easy & pleasurable. Throughout the session she continuously gives useful tips, shortcuts & variations. She is motivational, encouraging, inspiring, transforming beginners to experts in cooking.
1987-88: Started with a small snack outlet with two friends, near Mount Carmel College for Women, Bangalore.
Late 80s & early 90s: With National Nippo of Japan promoting their cookers & mixies, National's prime products.
Classes at the Secretariat Club, Cubbon Park, for over 100 staff of the Vidhan Soudha.
Held Indian cuisine classes for wives of a Japanese business delegation.
Given an Introductory Demonstration on Indian Cuisine to delegates at the 2nd Pan Commonwealth Veterinary Conference.
Taught families of leading film stars, politicians, bureaucrats and business families
Regularly been a judge at various cookery contests.
