I am a professional mrudanga artist with a experience of 30 years performing across South india. Horned with a couple of awards. Nadabrahma sangeetha sabha as best accompanist, nada choodamani from shidlaghatta tyagaraja aradhana sabha. And many more. It's my passion to train students who are interested in playing the instrument.So far I have trained 20 students. I have simplified playing mrudanga so that students can start performing very fast, unlike the traditional way where it takes 10 to 15 years , where as my students can start performing from the 3rd years itself which will help them to overcome stage fear and learn the art to and perform even if it's a large arena. With, no compromising in the quality of playing. Why do students take a class from me? I teach it in a simplified format that is easy to learn, implement, and practice, and within a short span of 3 to 5 years, can start performing. I run a sabha wherein I provide a stage for young and budding artists and my students and promote them.

I am an experienced, qualified teacher and tutor over 20 yrs of experience in teaching folk music, across the world.. i have experience in doing many workshops on folk music in many colleges... and also i have more than 40 students age starting from 5 to 70 yrs old.
