Sanjana Kaushik, an eternal student and vocalist of Hindustani Art Music, hails from Mysuru, Karnataka. With the blessings of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Srimata Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda, she was born to Srimati R. K. Taramani and Sri C. A. Ravindra. ON RESPECTED GURUS She received her initial training in Hindustani vocal Khayal form of music from Guru Vid. Geeta Dutt in Jalandhar, Punjab. Later, she later continued to train from Guru Pt. Veerabhadraiah Hiremath in Mysuru for a brief period. She received arduous Talim in Kirana Gharana from Guru-s Pt. Nagabhushan Hegde and Pt. Niranjan J. for many years. She also received traditional guidance from Guru Pt. Arun Kashalkar for a few years in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is currently getting deep insights into the sublime Agra Gayaki of Khayal Gayana from Guru Vid. Dr. Pournima Dhumale in Pune, Maharashtra. ON HER EDUCATION Being the Graded Artiste of Akashavani (AIR) Bengaluru, UGC NET Qualified and Performing Musician, Sanjana is currently doing Ph. D. in Hindustani Vocal Music from S. N. D. T. Women’s University Pune, under the guidance of Guru Dr. Pournima Dhumale. She earlier completed the Master’s degree in Hindustani Vocal Music from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune. And, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in the Literature of English, Psychology and Sociology, with a Gold Medal in Psychology, from the University of Mysore, Mysuru. ON HER ACCOMPLISHMENTS 1. Blessed to have been receiving the accolades for music by Guru-s, musicians, critics and audiences globally. 2. Performed at notable venues both virtually and directly, viz.
