Veerabhadraiah Hiremath in Mysuru for a brief period. She received arduous Talim in Kirana Gharana from Guru-s Pt. Nagabhushan Hegde and Pt. Niranjan J. for many years. She also received traditional guidance from Guru Pt. Arun Kashalkar for a few years in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is currently getting deep insights into the sublime Agra Gayaki of Khayal Gayana from Guru Vid. Dr. Pournima Dhumale in Pune, Maharashtra. ON HER EDUCATION Being the Graded Artiste of Akashavani (AIR) Bengaluru, UGC NET Qualified and Performing Musician, Sanjana is currently doing Ph. D. in Hindustani Vocal Music from S. N. D. T. Women’s University Pune, under the guidance of Guru Dr. Pournima Dhumale. She earlier completed the Master’s degree in Hindustani Vocal Music from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune. And, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in the Literature of English, Psychology and Sociology, with a Gold Medal in Psychology, from the University of Mysore, Mysuru. ON HER ACCOMPLISHMENTS 1. Mrs. Veena Kulkarni, I am a music teacher by profession. I have completed my Vidwat degree in classical Carnatic music. I have been teaching classical Carnatic music for the past 30 years for all levels. I'm a B-high grade artist in All India Radio. Many of my students are also qualified artists in the All India Radio. I'm conducting classes for all levels of students in classical Carnatic music. I am an artist of Carnatic music with both singing and violin playing talents. I have passed the Yuva Vani exam for youth artists and had the opportunity to perform at the AIR Bangalore for the Youth concert group and a TV performance with Udaya Tv. Have performed publicly too for few Musical institutions and a new Kannada TV Channel. Coming from a musical home where both my parents are inclined to music, I have always been a part of music throughout school and college wining many competitions . I m teaching music for school kids since 2005 till date. I have learnt Carnatic music(Junior completed, Senior exams not taken) from Vidushi Bharathi madam, Mysore, I have attended workshop conducted by Late Raju Ananthaswamy in Sugama Sangeetha sector, I have given many stage programs n have won prizes in many TV reality shows also.
