I am a professional Hindustani classical musician specializing in the Santoor, and I also train students in Hindustani vocal music. With over 8 years of teaching experience, I focus on helping students build a strong foundation in classical music while nurturing their individual musical expression. I hold a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree and have completed Senior Grade certification in Hindustani Music. I am also a graded artist with AIR Dharwad, which reflects my formal training and recognition in the field of classical music. Alongside teaching, I have performed in various Santoor concerts, which has given me valuable stage experience and a deeper understanding of musical performance. This practical exposure allows me to guide students not only in learning but also in presenting music confidently. My approach to teaching is rooted in tradition while being adaptable to modern learning needs. I have been teaching classical Carnatic music for the past 30 years for all levels. I'm a B-high grade artist in All India Radio. I am an artist of Carnatic music with both singing and violin playing talents. I have passed the Yuva Vani exam for youth artists and had the opportunity to perform at the AIR Bangalore for the Youth concert group and a TV performance with Udaya Tv. Have performed publicly too for few Musical institutions and a new Kannada TV Channel. Coming from a musical home where both my parents are inclined to music, I have always been a part of music throughout school and college wining many competitions . Niranjan Hegde hails from a culturally rich place called Manchikeri, a small hamlet tucked away in the greeneries of the Western Ghat region in the Uttara Kannada district. Mancikeri has gifted many well-known artistes like Pt. Ganapathi Bhat, Hasanagi; Pt Shripad Hegde, Campli; and Shri Nagaraj Hegde Shiranala to the music world. Now Nirnajan is showing all signs of a very promising budding flautist. Born on 24th March 1992 to Shri Raghupati Hegde and Shrimati Mahadevi Hegde, Nirnajan grew up listening to the sound of music that was in the air all the time at his birth place. People in and around Manchikeri get to enjoy music in a range of forms, from Yakshagana shows to Hindustani Classical Music concerts. Niranjan was drawn to towards the fascinating steps of dance as well as the mesmerizing sound of musical early on. He started learning Bharat Natyam and Yakshagana when he was a child. But at the age of 12, he became more attracted towards Bansuri or flute, played by his cousin. Niranjan’s parents supported his interest and his training in flute in Hindustani music commenced in the Gurukul tradition under the able guidance of Shri Nagaraj Hegde (one of the senior most disciples of Pt Venkatesh Godkhindi) at Gokula Bansuri Gurukula, Shiranala. Under his Guru Nagaraj Hegde, Niranjan has been training for the past nine years in the Kirana Gharana Gayaki style. In this style, playing of flute is similar to vocal music. Niranjan has mastered the style and is emerging as a bright rising star in flute playing. Performances: Nirnjan Hegde has given solo performances on various platforms, including Oudumbar, Sangli, Maharashtra and Shrimata Saraswati Sheshagiri Kamat Nitya Sangeetotsav, Bangalore. He has also accompanied his Guru on various stages in and outside Karnataka. He was a guest flutist for the troupe, Bhrame, the musical illusionists, in many of its stage shows. Being a member of Karnataka Film Music Society, Bangalore, he performed in Ganeshotsava, Bangalore 2013 as part its team.

Sanjana Kaushik, an eternal student and vocalist of Hindustani Art Music, hails from Mysuru, Karnataka. With the blessings of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Srimata Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda, she was born to Srimati R. K. Taramani and Sri C. A. Ravindra. ON RESPECTED GURUS She received her initial training in Hindustani vocal Khayal form of music from Guru Vid. Geeta Dutt in Jalandhar, Punjab. Later, she later continued to train from Guru Pt. Veerabhadraiah Hiremath in Mysuru for a brief period. She received arduous Talim in Kirana Gharana from Guru-s Pt. Nagabhushan Hegde and Pt. Niranjan J. for many years. She also received traditional guidance from Guru Pt. Arun Kashalkar for a few years in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is currently getting deep insights into the sublime Agra Gayaki of Khayal Gayana from Guru Vid. Dr. Pournima Dhumale in Pune, Maharashtra. ON HER EDUCATION Being the Graded Artiste of Akashavani (AIR) Bengaluru, UGC NET Qualified and Performing Musician, Sanjana is currently doing Ph. D. in Hindustani Vocal Music from S. N. D. T. Women’s University Pune, under the guidance of Guru Dr. Pournima Dhumale. She earlier completed the Master’s degree in Hindustani Vocal Music from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune. And, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in the Literature of English, Psychology and Sociology, with a Gold Medal in Psychology, from the University of Mysore, Mysuru. ON HER ACCOMPLISHMENTS 1.
