I am an experienced musician with more than ten years of teaching experience. I hold a Master's degree in music and am a graded artist on All India Radio and DD National. I have been teaching online music for the past decade. I am a performing artist who has travelled to twelve countries, including the US, London, Gulf countries, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. I have performed in these countries with my band and received several awards, including the National Award on Music, Swarasamrat Pandit Patmabhushan Pandit Basavaraj Raj Guru Award, Sursangam Award, and Gold Medal Winner. My passion lies in traditional music, which I have learned from the Gurukul system. My teaching skills include vocal music in Hindustani, bhajan, gazal, and devotional songs. I also teach keyboard, harmonium, and piano to students between five and eighty years old. My teaching approach is practical-oriented and follows the Gurukul system, which emphasises learning by doing. I am the director of Swaralaya Pratishta, a training centre in Bangalore, where I teach music to students using the Gurukul system. At the centre, I also provide certification courses for those wanting to pursue music professionally. Apart from teaching, I also have a YouTube channel called Satish Kolli Harmonium, where I share my knowledge of music and provide guidance to learners who want to improve their skills. In my teaching, I use the Gandharva Vidyalaya syllabus and reference books, which have helped my students better understand music.
