Right now he is learning under the guidance of his Guru, Pt. Udayraj Karpoor, an eminent artist in today's date. A post graduate in music from Karnatak University,Shouri has been an awardee of a Gold medal in his Bachelors degree for Tabla.He has received the prestigious "Ministry of culture's" scholarship given for young artists. Some other certifications& awards: * Graded artist of A.I.R Dharwad * Recipient of Sangeet Nritya academy scholarship * Pt.Basavaraj Bendegeri Gold medal * Nadayogi Parwatikar scholarship * Vidhwat from the Karnataka State board * Wr.D.C.Pavte scholarship * Prizes in many competitions. Shouri has performed in many reputed platforms throughout the country as a solo player and also as an accompanying artist with many noted artists.
