Started learning the art of Tabla at a tender age under the guidance of Vid.Bhaskar Hegde in his native Sagar,Shimoga.Then continued his training under his Guru Pt.Madivalayya Sali of Banaras Gharana. Right now he is learning under the guidance of his Guru, Pt. Udayraj Karpoor, an eminent artist in today's date. A post graduate in music from Karnatak University,Shouri has been an awardee of a Gold medal in his Bachelors degree for Tabla.He has received the prestigious "Ministry of culture's" scholarship given for young artists. Some other certifications& awards: * Graded artist of A.I.R Dharwad * Recipient of Sangeet Nritya academy scholarship * Pt.Basavaraj Bendegeri Gold medal * Nadayogi Parwatikar scholarship * Vidhwat from the Karnataka State board * Wr.D.C.Pavte scholarship * Prizes in many competitions. I initially learnt Tabla from Vidwan Bhaskar Hegde at the tender age and for advanced learning I started from Pt Madivalayya Sali of Benaras Gharana.Presently i am learning Tabla from a great Tabla Maestro Pt Udayraj Karpur. I am aspire to become a Master in the field of Music. As being a good learner, I wish to put good foundation to my students. I would like to give my best in the process of introducing my students to the divine world of music. He is easily one of the most gifted & finest tabla players to emerge on the stage of Indian Classical Music. He learning tabla when he was just 10 years old from his father, the great tabla maestro Pt. Sheshgiri Hangal. Today he has emerged as an excellent tabla player in his own right, adept at both solo performances and accompaniment. He has given solo performances at Gwalior, Bhopal, Mumbai,Bangalore.

Ravichandra Kulur is an internationally acclaimed flutist, who was regarded as “ flute maestro” by the sitar legend Pandit Ravi Shankar. Ravi has performed more than 1200 concerts extensively around the globe in 32 countries, at venues ranging from Carnegie Hall in New York and the Disney Hall in Los Angeles to the Sydney Opera house in Australia and the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London with maestro Ravi Shankar and Anoushka Shankar . Ravi has been part of many international music festivals including WOMAD in UK, Tff Rudolstadt , Womadelaide , Verbier , Paleo , Roskilde , Sfinks , Rainforest music fest in Malaysia and the San Francisco Jazz Festival, among others for his Solo, duet and numerous collaborations ranging from Indian Classical musicians , Jazz, Celtic musicians to huge Rock bands like Jethro Tull. In 2016, Ravi joined A R Rahman for his popular Mtv unplugged session rendering his magic for some breathtaking tracks. These episodes were viewed by millions of music lovers across the globe. Ravi is also part of Rahman's live act. Ravi has trained many flute students in Carnatic Classical style for more than 25 years now & some of them have become successful professionals and He has also given master classes for professional musicians in India, Europe and USA. His unique method of engaging students with creative learning helps them to understand and perform better on this instrument. The courses are personally charted for each student with multiple levels of learning.
