Hi, I am a Bharatanatyam artist and teacher. I have over 16 years of experience in teaching all age groups of students. I have completed Graduation Diploma, PG Diploma and M.A. in Bharatnatyam and have performed at various national and international stages. I try to make the classes more interesting by teaching semi classical dance form sometimes apart from laying stress on the intricacies of Bharatnatyam.

I have been teaching dance for over 17 years, working with students of all age groups and skill levels. My journey as a dance instructor has been driven by a passion for helping individuals express themselves through movement while building confidence and strong foundational skills. I believe that dance is not just about technique, but also about enjoying the process and developing one’s own unique style. I hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree and have also completed specialized training and certification courses in dance. These certifications have helped me refine my teaching methods and stay updated with the latest techniques and evolving trends in the dance industry. I continuously work on upgrading my skills to provide the best learning experience to my students. Over the years, I have built a strong foundation in both performance and teaching. My classes are a blend of creativity, technical precision, and artistic expression. I focus on ensuring that students not only learn the steps but also understand rhythm, coordination, and expression, which are essential elements of a good dancer. In addition to regular classes, I have conducted numerous dance workshops across various studios in Bangalore. These workshops have given me the opportunity to train aspiring dancers in different styles and help them enhance their skills. I enjoy creating an engaging and energetic environment where students feel motivated to push their limits and grow. One of the highlights of my journey has been participating in popular national-level reality shows such as Dance India Dance, TRP, and Dance+. These experiences have given me valuable exposure to professional standards and performance techniques, which I incorporate into my training sessions. I have also received various awards and certificates in recognition of my work as both a performer and a mentor. These achievements reflect my dedication to the art of dance and my commitment to helping students reach their full potential. Seeing my students perform confidently and improve over time is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career. I offer both online and offline classes, making it convenient for students to learn according to their preferences. My goal is to create a fun, supportive, and growth-oriented environment where students can develop their skills, boost their confidence, and truly enjoy the art of dance.
