Like all of you, dance is my passion., I have been trained as a Vidushi (the highest grade of exams ) in the classical dance form of Bharatnatyam ( pandanallur style ) . I have completed my Arangetram ( Ranga Pravesha ) in the year 2018. I have given multiple performances the state in esteemed art and culture organisations and divine temples. I’m proficient in the theory of dance as well ( Sanskrit shlokas included ). I would love to share the knowledge I have gained throughout and pass it on to the generations to come. I will be training the students in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the dance form, as I believe the student should be aware of the historical background of the dance. I’m willing to travel to the student’s location or take offline classes as well. I prefer to take classes over the weekends ( mornmornings preferably ) .Intrested students can kindly reach out.

I started my training in Classical dance/bharatnatyam at age of 5 under guru Mani Iyer and later continued in Kalakshetra style under Smt. Shella Sridhar and completed Junior, Senior and Vidhvat exam. I have been conferred with the Vidhushi title in Bharatanatyam from the Karnataka State Board and i am also an A grade artist on Doordarshan, the national TV network. My dance base is further strengthened by the fact that i am a graduate of the world famous Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai. After completing my education in dance, I have had the privilege of doing over 100 stage shows all over india and i have also actively been in the teaching profession. Teaching is one of my passions, i have been in the teaching profession for over 10 yrs in various parts of india and abroad in both school and various art institutions. I have also been the choreographer for events such as annual days and cultural functions for schools.

I teach Bharathanatyam for children and adults. I train students for junior, senior and also for Gandharva Vidyalaya exams. classes are conducted at 1.
