"I and my friend Ms.Roshini took admission into Sri Veena Vani Music School, for learning Veena insturmental, but ended up with a bad experience with the whole situation and one called Mr Girish. We wanted to post a detailed review so none should be cheated again, and it’s an expensive review which is costing us Rs11200/- Day1 24th June 2024: Visited the place and met Mr.Girish, and he had promised one on one Veena sessions for us as I am a beginner and my friend’s an experienced Veena player. And we haven’t met the teacher that day. Paid the fees Rs 5600/- each Day2 (a week after 24th June): Hopeful to start the new journey into the world of Veena, we both visited the school swimming through the Saturday traffic(Bangalore) and we were asked to sit in the class where the teacher was teaching Carnatic vocal and she made us wait for 45 minutes or so, she had gestured each of us to bring the notebook and had written the notes to be played on Veena, without stopping the vocal class and asked us to practice, and we couldn’t even hear what we were playing, we were sitting there waiting for the teacher to finish the vocal class, once she’s done with the vocal class she had picked her bag and started leaving, noticing us Mr Girish came in and asked us if the class is finished, we said no it hasn’t, and then there was an argument between the teacher and Mr Girish and in the end we said this is not the way we want to learn and he himself had promised that he would refund the money, we agreed for the refund and left the place. Then onwards: After a week or so we had called Girish saying that we haven’t received any refund, then he started saying they don’t have a refund policy and refund has to be approved by his school’s trust members and he should get the signatures from all of his trust members, which can happen only on the 1st week of every month, when asked that he himself had promised the refund and he going back on his word, he asked us to call on the coming month and he’ll make sure that 99.9% the refund will happen, when we had called him on next month he said the meeting didn’t happen so call him the next month, so this continued till September, and I was occupied with other things in October and called him in November, first thing he said was you’re calling me after so many months and asking. I thought really, that’s the peak of irresponsibility, and finally he concluded saying that his trust members didn’t approve the refund and he can give a guitar for the money if we want, which is unnecessary for us. Finally, we chose to post the review. "
