Well it totally depends on you. To conclude that you can solve previous year question papers and get an idea where you stand. If the concepts are not clear you must take coaching because at the end its conceptual based exam.

Yes M.Tech IT is eligible. UGC net is basic qualification of A.P as per UGC norm in Science.
