Is M.tech + UGC NET cleared qualification enough for lecturer job or preference is given to candidate holding Phd degree?

M.Sc Chemistry SET qualified, Chemistry Lecturer with 5 years of Teaching Experience

M.tech +UGC NET is enough for lecturer job but some time preference gives to M.tech+UGC NET+Phd qualified candidate.

Normally preference is given to the candidates holding PhD degree than NET Qualification in any stream (Science, Technology, Arts & Humanities, Commerce & Management). But having M.Tech + UGC NET, you are expected to get an Assistant Professor job in Engg Colleges.
