UGC NET Exam Registration 2019
For candidates who are going to attend the UGC NET exam, registration is the most crucial step. This is an online procedure, the window of which remains open only for a certain period of time. Within that time frame, applicants are expected to fill up the form and submit it. The initial move towards the UGC NET exam is to enrol for the test. However, the UGC NET online registration for June 2019 got over on March 30th, 2019. Candidates who have already registered can download the UGC NET admit card from the official website i.e. ntanet.nic.in.
The overall filling of UGC NET application form is done in 4 simple steps. Students can complete all the 4 steps together or at separate times.
Step-1: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.
Step-2: Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (between 10 kb – 200 kb) and Candidate’s Signature (between 4kb – 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
Step-3: Make a payment of fee using SBI/HDFC/Syndicate/ICICI Payment Gateway and keep proof of the fee paid.
Step-4: Take a print of the Confirmation Page after successful remittance of the fee.
UGC NET Registration Fee
Below is a brief about the different payment methods a candidate can opt for.
Online Mode: Candidates can pay through Debit Card / Credit Card or Net Banking by entering the sixteen-digit number, name and CVV mentioned on the card. The bank will send an OTP for verification purpose. If accepted, additional charges will be applicable (if any).
Offline Mode: For paying offline, candidates have to download the challan from the website. Fill in the application form by giving details such as name and the exam applied details. The challan needs to be paid in either Syndicate/Canara/ICICI bank of India. Once done, the challan number needs to be entered for completion of the registration process.
E-Challan: There is also a provision of E-Challan if any candidate opts for it. The system generates an E-Challan, which the candidate has to get printed and submitted along with the fee to any nearest Syndicate Bank/ ICICI/Canara Bank.

Points to be noted before filling the form
If step 2 and step 3 are incomplete the final submission of the online application form will be considered as rejected and no correspondence on this account will be entertained.
Fee once paid offline cannot be refunded. However, if the payment is done using a debit/credit card, the amount will be refunded to the concerned bank account within a week.
Candidates are not required to send/submit any document(s) including Confirmation Page to NTA through Post/ Fax/ By hand, since the entire application process of UGC NET June 2019 is online.
Candidates are advised to keep visiting the NTA’s website regularly for the latest updates and keep checking their e-mails.
